Numeric error messages
Error code	Recommendation
26:n.01 (where n = the subject ink cartridge number)	Remove the subject ink cartridge and reinstall it in the printer. If the error persists, replace the subject ink cartridge. If the problem persists, contact HP Support.
29:01	The maintenance cartridge is not inserted correctly. Open the maintenance cartridge door on the right side of the printer, make sure that the maintenance cartridge is correctly seated, and then close the door. If the problem persists, replace the maintenance cartridge. If the problem persists, contact HP Support.
32:1.01	A take-up reel error has occurred. Make sure that the paper is adequately taped to the take-up reel spindle core, and then make sure that the winding direction is correctly set.
32:2.01	The take-up reel can not be detected. Make sure that the take-up reel sensor cable is correctly connected.
61:01	Unsupported file format: the printer cannot process the job. Try the following remedies:· Turn off the printer by using the Power key on the front panel and the power switch at the back of the printer; disconnect the power cord; then reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer. · Make sure that the graphic language setting is correct. · Resubmit the file to the printer. · Check that your printer firmware is up to date. If the problem persists, contact HP Support.
61:04.1	The PostScript fonts are missing. Install the latest firmware release to reinstall the fonts.
61:04.2	Unrecognized paper type identifier. Install the latest firmware release to reinstall the paper type identifiers.
61:08	The paper type has changed. Please resubmit the job.
61:08.1	The file cannot be printed because it is password-protected. Please resubmit the job without password protection.
61:08.2	The job contains format errors or incorrect setting values. Please resubmit the job.
63:04	An input/output problem has occurred with the network card. Try the following remedies:· Make sure that the network cable is correctly connected to the network card. · Check that your printer firmware is up to date. If the problem persists, contact HP Support.
71:03	An “out of memory” failure has occurred. Turn off the printer by using the Power key on the front panel and the power switch at the back of the printer; disconnect the power cord; then reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer.
71:08	Insufficient display list memory. Please resubmit the job with one or more of the following changes: reduce resolution to 300 dpi, select Econofast print mode, select ‘Send Job As Bitmap’ to have the main processing of the print job done by the computer rather than by the printer.
74:01	An error occurred when uploading the firmware update file. Try the following remedies:· Turn off the printer by using the Power key on the front panel and the power switch at the back of the printer; disconnect the power cord; then reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer. · Try again to upload the firmware update file to the printer. If the problem persists, contact HP Support.
76:03	The hard disk is full. Use the Embedded Web Server to remove unnecessary files from the printer’s hard disk.If the problem persists, contact HP Support.
77:04	An Embedded Web Server internal software error has occurred. Try the following remedies:· Turn off the printer by using the Power key on the front panel and the power switch at the back of the printer; disconnect the power cord; then reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer. · Check that your printer firmware is up to date. If the problem persists, contact HP Support.
79	Firmware error. Try the following remedies:· Turn off the printer by using the Power key on the front panel and the power switch at the back of the printer; disconnect the power cord; then reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer. · Check that your printer firmware is up to date. If the problem persists, contact HP Support.
81:01, 81:03, 86:01	Open the printer window and make sure that there are no obstacles restricting the movement of the drive roller. If the paper has jammed and is restricting the movement of the drive roller, lift the paper load lever and clear the obstruction. If the problem persists, contact HP Support.

Carriage Belt for DesignJet Z6200 Photo printer series

Black belt  that connects the carriage to the carriage motor.  It runs the length of the plotter and moves the carriage left and right. We  carry OEM carriage belt. HP Design Jet Z6200 carriage belt kits are correctly replaced, preventive maintenance provided, covers are cleaned, belt debris is removed when needed and metal parts are lubricated on every HP plotter repair / service and maintenance by our Plotter technicians.

Banding due to ink cartridge replacement while printing

Someone has removed an Ink Cartridge while the printer was printing, which has caused the printer to

stop. If the user does not replace the Ink Cartridge immediately, when the printer starts to print again, a

band will appear in the position where the printing restarted. This is because the wet ink interacts with

the dried ink on the paper causing the band to appear. To solve the problem, try the following:

• Do not remove an Ink Cartridge while the printer is printing. Only replace/remove Ink Cartridges

between prints.

• If the Ink Cartridge was replaced due to the “Empty” status on the Front Panel, then advise the

customer to replace the Ink Cartridge when the “Very Low” status is showing on the Front Panel.

• Reprint the file (without removing the Ink Cartridge).

Preventive Maintenance

Moisture on the Printer

Users should use the Printer in an environment between 20% and 80% relative humidity. To recover from moisture condensation, turn the Printer Off, and, using the main roller as a reference, wait until the Printer is completely dry before using it again.

Noisy Carriage Bushing

To prevent noisy movement of the carriage, remove aluminum or dust particles from the bushing at the back of the carriage, and from the slider path along which the bushing moves. Lubricate the slider path using the Lubrication Kit (Q5669-60692).

Belt Swelling

To prevent new belts from swelling incorrectly, keep them in their bags with desiccant until you need to install them.

Cleaning the Printer

To maintain the Printer in good operating condition, keep it free of dust accumulation, ink, and other contamination. Cleaning intervals are determined by the Printer environment and by the types of Printer supplies used.
